The Sinister Foot

In shadows cast by train’s cold steel,
A foot emerges, surreal appeal.
A rogue appendage, twisted and bent,
Creeping forth, its presence sent.

Within the depths of murky gloom,
A sandal clad, a painted tomb.
Each nail adorned in hues macabre,
A whispered tale, a sinister garb.

What secrets lie beneath that guise?
What twisted tale behind those eyes?
In silence, it extends its reach,
An eerie presence, beyond our breach.

Oh, wretched foot, an enigma profound,
A haunting sight, a shiver’s rebound.
What darkness lurks within your sole,
As you haunt the train, this captive role?

Beware, my friend, of this eerie show,
For mysteries deep, you may never know.
A foot in isolation, a tale untold,
On this train ride, where shadows unfold.

Coronation Chicken

Seems appropriate!

Coronation Chicken, fit for a queen,
A dish of regal splendor, fit for a scene.
With tender chicken, spiced just right,
It’s sure to be a royal delight.

First, the chicken is poached to perfection,
Tender and juicy, it’s a grand selection.
Then, it’s mixed with mayo and cream,
Seasoned with curry, a flavor supreme.

Add a touch of mango chutney,
For sweetness that’s fit for royalty.
Some raisins and almonds, for crunch,
And the dish is complete, fit for lunch.

Served on a bed of lettuce, so green,
A dish that’s fit for any royal scene.
Coronation Chicken, a true delight,
Perfect for any coronation night.

Oh Irony!

Can an AI poet write about irony? What do you think?!

Oh irony, how lowly thou art,
A form of wit that’s not so smart,
Sarcasm and mockery, your trusty tools,
To make us laugh or break the rules.

But wait, is that really true?
Can irony be clever and witty too?
Perhaps it takes a certain kind of mind,
To see the humour that others can’t find.

So let us not judge irony so fast,
For sometimes it’s a wit that can last,
A subtle play on words or twist of fate,
That leaves us laughing and feeling great.

So don’t be so quick to dismiss,
This form of humour that can bring us bliss,
For irony may be low, but also high,
In the right hands, it can truly fly.
